About Us

Aspire Financial Consulting was established in 2004 by Jeff Lemin.  The firm was set up because Jeff saw there was a real need in the Toowoomba area for affordable, independent financial planning advice.

Unlike most financial planning firms, we have our own Australian Financial Services License (276914) and have no links to any of the financial institutions we recommend.  We also choose to recommend products which pay no commission or other kick backs, charging instead a set fee which ensures we avoid any possible conflict of interest. We tend to find the most worthwhile investments have no need to pay commissions to encourage advisers to recommend them.

Our adviser, Jeff Lemin has been part of the financial planning industry since 1997. His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and and a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University. In 2002, Jeff attained the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), which is the highest professional designation awarded by the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). In 2007 and 2009,

Jeff Lemin placed among the top 10 financial advisers in Australia as ranked by AFR Smart Investor Magazine.  In 2010, he ranked in the Top 5.
